Adolescents and Young Adults

Dr. Jacobs is a Board Certified physician in Pediatrics as well as Adolescent Medicine. Her clinical expertise focuses on the treatment of a wide range of medical and mental health issues, including primary/preventative adolescent care, gynecologic & menstrual issues, contraception, eating disorders, medication treatment of depression/anxiety, and LGBTQ inclusive care.

Prior to joining Pediatrics on Hudson in 2018, Dr. Jacobs served as the Director of Health Services of a New York City agency serving children in foster care and juvenile justice. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, where in addition to her clinical practice and teaching responsibilities, she was the Founder and Director of the Intrauterine Device and Contraceptive Implant Service. Dr. Jacobs has lectured regionally and nationally numerous times and has published extensively on issues related to Adolescent Medicine.

Dr. Jacobs lives in Westchester with her family. In her free time, she is often found running.
