Immunizations

We believe that vaccines are one of the most important and successful medical advances of all time.  We understand that parents may have questions and concerns about vaccines and their children. Our website provides links to sites that give detailed, scientific information about immunizations. We ask parents to avail themselves of this information, to read and inform themselves.  We welcome and encourage questions about vaccine safety and effectiveness.  We follow the immunization schedules approved and recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Advisory Committee on Immunizations Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

For information about these vaccines and the diseases they protect against, please visit www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/

Our Vaccine Philosophy

Our practice believes that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the AAP and the CDC. Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults. Regular vaccinations are one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.
